Tiffany & Jordan

Tiffany & Jordan

In early March 2020 Lockdown for New Zealand was coming and Tiffany and Jordan managed to celebrate their wedding days before we were plunged into a level 4 lockdown. There were sacrifices made for example Tiffany’s parents couldn’t travel over from China to celebrate with them, but they pushed on and had a wonderful day at the gorgeous Kauri Bay Boomrock before honeymooning at home for their lockdown.

Tiffany and Jordan choose a palette of soft pastels and creams with a pop of stronger  burgundies for their florals. They wanted each arrangement to connect to the next in some way, not only on palette but also in shape.

For the ceremony arch we created a slight ombre effect where we used greenery in abundance on the lower half of the arch and the flowers became more dense and distinct the higher you went. This same effect was mirrored in the signs that we embellished with florals.

The ceremony gardens made an elegant statement at the end of the pews, creating a stunning aisle and were later shifted to the bridal table to get a second hero moment within the lodge.

It made my day when I met up with Tiffany and Jordan at the packout the following day and they recounted the intricate details of the florals their family and bridal party wore. It felt like a true appreciation of our work and a high note to end on before months in lockdown.
