Hi, I am Carol and I started Branch and Bloom in 2015 when I wanted to create a business that would work for me and my family.

This unique floral business literally has grown from the ground up. While we regularly buy from the flower markets, I decided to turn 500s/m of our property into a cut garden where I could grow beautiful and delicate botanicals to include into my design work, it was a way of adding a final flourish to our designs where we could use product that was not readily available at the markets.

Over the years the garden has become more streamlined and productive and the Branch and Bloom team has grown to include a gardener. With access to a large number of deliciously scented garden roses and old fashioned, whimsical flowers, Branch & Bloom customers have access to a floral world that dreams are made of.

I am lucky enough to have a team of talented woman who help me on event days to bring the proposal we have dreamed up with our clients to life. Often I have sketched up a mockup of what we will create and to see it jump off the paper and become the backdrop for a couple’s ceremony or the installation overhead is what brings me the biggest joy.

Over the years our events have got bigger, however the process and heart of the design phase will always remain. Our designs draw on the best blooms of the season and our aesthetic is typically un-structured, wildly romantic and full of whimsey, while being seductively balanced with textures and foliage.
