When Alex first approached me with a few words that immediately got me excited. Installations (plural), warm whites, champagne and coppery tones set against bluey greens, tying in the families tartan. La Lumiere, Flagship, Jackson Bright and McCallums. This request came through in amongst a sea of white and green weddings, so I was sold.

Fraser and Alex married on the Easter weekend of 2023, the forecast leading up to the day was less than ideal but luck was on their side and they ended up with a glorious Autumnal weekend.

The ceremony was on the beach and we used the round gold arch from Pretty Prop Shop decorated with lush greens and florals. One of my favourite looks were the aisle gardens, that sprung out of the ground creating a meandering path for the aisle. These were later moved to sit in front of the bridal table at the reception.

They had two flagship tents set up (the Manhattan and the Boston). The Manhattan was for the reception, where tables were set with flowers on our white stands and in our copper vases. We teamed up with La Lumiere to hang a 4m full floral and gold pendant lighting installation which created the wow factor in the centre of the tent. Later the guests moved through to the dance floor and bar which was hosted in the Boston tent, this installation was made with pockets of dripping florals in and around the gold disco balls. The overall vibe was fun, playful and magical.

Fraser is a local Clevedon lad so the delightful couple used as many local vendors as they could, for example Alex’s stunning gown was a Dell’Amore Bridal number, and how utterly perfect it looked on her.
