It was hard to pick a day without rain during the wedding Summer season of ‘22-’23, so many wedding ceremonies were pushed into the “indoor option” as the rain just kept coming down. Laura and Joel were some of the lucky ones, with a few splatters in the morning to make sure we didn’t get too comfortable with sunshine, it then fined up into a beautiful afternoon.

Laura, Joel and their little one flew in from Dubai to celebrate their wedding in Auckland with their loved ones who came from around the globe.

They wanted their florals to tie in with the rustic surrounds that is the Nocton Woolshed, so while we kept the colour palatte clean and traditional we went heavy on the texture and wilder elements.

Sam from Weddings by Samantha did a stunning job pulling the final look together, she negotiated her way through flooded furniture store rooms and other flood related issues to end up with a festival vibe where guests enjoyed the sunshine, live music and food trucks.

Thank you Joel and Laura for choosing to work with Branch and Bloom, we adored your rustic elegance.

This is what they had to say……

“We wanted to say thank you for our BEAUTIFUL flowers, I honestly can't put into words how amazing you made the venue look, it completely transformed it and made it exactly what we wanted. You are so incredibly talented and we're so grateful that you were part of our special day.”
